Beauty Haul

Okay ladies, lets be honest how many of us go into a drugstore for that one lip gloss that we need or mascara but come out spending twice as much as what we planed on. Guilty! In this case, I just wanted to try out this new Cover girl mascara.

Covergirl Bombshell Volume

Now I normally get Maybelline Falsies but I get bored easily and just bought the covergirl mascara being that it is the newest one out. Let's just say I've been wearing it for the last couple of days and i'm just about ready to go back to Maybelline. Now there are pros and cons to this mascara. Pro- I would just consider this as an everyday light wearing mascara. It is very light weight, doesn't clump at all. Double sided with one for volume and the other to make your lashes more intense. Cons- the brush they have for volume is just to fat and I just find myself messing up. Also the intensifying brush doesn't really thicken or intensify anything. That being the reason why I would just use this for simple days.

Now this I've been wanting to get my hands on for a while now. I've been hearing good things about this product on Youtube and other Beauty Blogs. This product is supposed to give you porelesss, smooth looking skin as soon as you apply it. You can wear this product alone or underneath your foundation. Which is perfect to wear alone for those days at the beach. Woo Hoo!

Burt's Bees- Facial Cleansing Towelettes

I'm a fan of face wipes to remove my make up. I have my days where I don't want to do my entire nightly routine. So i'll just take this towelette and wipe my face down and call it a night. Its a bonus too because it comes with a refreshing lip balm. Can we say Winning! 

Covergirl Lash Curler

Now I don't know why or when I ever stopped using this but I saw it and just bought it. Now that my lashes seem to have grown quite a bit i'm excited to see how they looked curled. You know for those days I don't want to put on lashes.

I bought this silky pencil eyeliner because I wanted a different color to go on my lower lash line other than white to help make my eyes bigger. I wasn't really feeling the white it was just to much, so I went on the search for a nude a found this. Since it said highlighter and it was an eyeliner, I felt it was right to purchase it.

Favorite face products of the moment.

     So I thought i'd write about my favorite face products of the moment since we all have a morning and night routine that we live by. I say for the moment because I am constantly trying new products. We all have tips and tricks and secret weapon as to why were always glowing or having baby soft skin. Why not share them. I have six products that i'm loving right now. I purchased them all at a drugstore; Walgreen's to be specific.

Neutrogena Pore Refining Daily Cleanser

     This one I had to give a shot. I started to notice about a month ago that my pores were starting to show. And I had to do something about. I noticed that my mothers face to looked absolutely flawless, so I asked what she was using. She showed me this product and within 5 minutes I had already purchased it. I began to wash my face with this twice a day, just because it says you will notice a change from week to week. Well I'll be honest I haven't noticed any changes but hey Rome wasn't built in a day so I decided to continue using it. After seeing the results my mother had, I am not giving up on this.  

Noxzema The Original Deep Cleansing Skin Cream

     So for the days that I've caked my face with make up and I want to make sure I give my face a really good cleaning I go to this. I do not use this as a daily face wash but i will use it twice a week. This product really reaches deep into your pores to remove dirt and oil. leaving your face smooth, and soft. You can use this with your face wet or dry, the end results will be moisturized skin.

Queen Helene Masque Mint Julep

     WOW, now this ladies is my Numero 1! Being that I have oily skin. There are days where it's average and there are days where I feel like it's oozing out of my pores. Yuck, I know (sorry for the sensitive stomachs) but this product Definitely does the job. Now this product is used for acne pimples, blackheads and enlarged pores. And fun fact, I love anything minty, because after I rinse this mask off my face, it leaves me with the so fresh and so clean feeling. You know that little tingly sensation mint products leave behind. It just reassures me that the mask did its job and still is after being rinsed off. 

     For those of you who don't have any skin care problems. This mask is still a a great product for you. It is still a refreshing facial treatment that helps relax tired muscles and ease tension lines on the face and neck.

Simple Soothing Facial Toner

     This product is to be used every morning and night, but I'm constantly running late every morning so I use this before going to bed. Now this is not a make up remover but after cleaning my face I still have a little makeup under my eyes because of the mascara so I just use this to clean up any left behind makeup. By the second time I apply it, I pass it all over my face and let it dry and feel the softness.

This product also contains one vital vitamin:

• B5- Which helps restore, soften and smooth skin

Also contains three skin loving nutrients:

• Chamomile- Which gently soften skin
• Witch Hazel- helps tone and tighten pores
• Allantoin- Which also helps tone skin and tighten pores

     This is my daily moisturizer with vitamins and antioxidants that fight seven signs of aging. You can use this twice a day if you'd like, I use in the mornings only. It doesn't have a thick feel to it, very smooth, and thin. What I like most about it is that it does not sit heavy on your face, it feels light weight. The seven signs of aging that this product fights against are:

• Uneven texture
• Dryness

Seventh Generation Boosts Skin Serum - Hydrating

     Hydrating Heaven! Now this is not only for the face. You can use this anywhere that your skin feels dry. After I get out the shower I will apply this to my face, elbows, knees, hands and feet because i'm just obsessed with keeping those areas moisturized. Hate seeing those areas neglected and dry. I only use this product on my face at night because I do apply a very generous amount (like 3-4 pumps) and it does sit on your face and does not absorbs very fast, maybe because more then the recommended amount, Recommended amount is 1-2 pumps. I also where this at night because I feel it does a better job at night verses doing it in the morning under all my makeup. Just apply at night, let my skin absorb it and wake up the next day with radiant skin.

I know we all have those moments where we fill a bit overwhelmed and don't know what to get that friend or family member. Date Night In

Okay so we all have those days where we want to do something but not really wanting to go out. I love movie/date night in.

So with that being said, here are 3 comfortable ways to be with your man and cuddle up to watch that movie. 1. is Pajama top with leggings and comfortable socks. 2. A onesies pajama lol too cute. But not really a thing for me. 3. Over sized top with lingerie underneath, and some knee high socks. By far my favorite! Of course all three of these looks will be with my hair in a messy bun.
